Grading history allows you to see who (the system or yourself) graded each assignment and revert scores for students (to previously assigned grades), if necessary.
To access the Grading History feature:
- Access the Gradebook by selecting the Grades link on the Course Navigation menu.
- Click the Settings Icon and select the View Grading History link.

From within the Grading History tool, you will be able to view all grading history for your course. The grading history is listed by date in chronological order (newest to oldest).
- Indicates the instructor has graded the items listed.
- Allows you to view the grading changes for a specific assignment and revert a student's grade, if necessary.
- Indicates the system has graded the items listed.
Locate the assignment for which you would like to view the grading history. Once you click the assignment name, it will expand allowing you to view the grading history. From this screen, you can revert the grade for student assignment to a previous grade by hovering over the assignment grade for the student and clicking the Revert to this grade link in the Before column. Once a grade has been reverted, it will be displayed in the Current column and the grade will be updated in the Gradebook. You can change a grade back to the newer grade by hovering over the assignment grade for the student and clicking the Revert to this grade link in the After column. To collapse/hide the grading changes, simply click the assignment title again.
