When you set up assignment groups, you are prompted to define a corresponding weight for the group. This weight can be edited at any time thereafter. In addition to editing the assignment group weight from the Assignments option of the Course Navigation menu, you may also adjust the weights within the Gradebook.

To adjust the assignment group weights from the Gradebook:

1. Click the Grades link on the Course Navigation Menu.
2. Click the Settings icon and select the Set Group Weights link.



3. Click the Weight final grade based on groups checkbox [A] to weight the final grade based on groups. Enter the various weights for the assignment groups [B]. Click the Save button [C] to update the group weights appropriately.
